The Future of the Universe: Expansion, Black Holes, Cosmic Fate
What will happen to the Universe?
Humanity has always been fascinated with the cosmos, from the early days when people stared at the sky and feared storms to modern-day discoveries made with advanced telescopes. Throughout history, humans have sought to understand what lies beyond them, and the universe continues to be one of science’s most significant challenges. Of course, astrophysicists are the ones who can provide the most complete answers to the questions that intrigue us, but that doesn’t mean we can’t search for answers ourselves today, thanks to the wealth of information available to us. Naturally, we’re interested in the universe’s past, its structure, and the uniqueness of human life. But the question that recently caught my attention and I present to you today is about the universe’s future. What do we know about this subject? Will the universe’s expansion continue until the thermal death of the cosmos? Are cosmic rebirths really possible? Where is the universe headed, in which we, too, exist on a tiny rock within an absolutely insignificant solar system? The universe is going where?
